Our books can be personalised in a number of ways depending on the title. For classic storybooks you can choose their name, gender, skin and hair colour, and accessories. You can also customise the cover design or add a personal dedication message. Want something extra? Get in touch at orders@papiertales.com and we're happy to work with you.
Yes! If it isn't already an option in the personalisation flow, just email us at orders@papiertales.com with the name, gender, skin colour, and hair colour of the character you'd like to add. We'll take care of the rest before your book goes to print.
All of our titles include a dedication page where you can write a personal message — perfect for birthdays, christenings, or new babies. You'll see this option during the personalisation step before you add to cart.
Don't worry — our team reviews every order before it goes to print. If we spot anything that looks like a typo, we'll reach out to confirm before we start printing. You can also email orders@papiertales.com as soon as you notice the mistake and we'll fix it, provided your order hasn't gone to print yet.

Our books are hardcover keepsakes printed to the highest possible standard with vibrant, fade-resistant colours. Pages are thick and durable. We use sustainably sourced paper, recycled ink cartridges, and recyclable packaging.
Because every book is made especially for your child, we're unable to accept returns on personalised orders. However, if your book arrives damaged or with a printing error, we'll reprint and resend it at no cost to you. Email orders@papiertales.com with a photo and your order number.
